In combination with the A11-C or SPECTRA M-C radiant heating and cooling ceiling systems, VENTAMIC forms a high-performance climate ceiling system with integrated supply air and superior sound absorption values. The air distribution uses the Coanda effect, which keeps air velocity low in the occupied zone.
The supply air jet creates negative pressure in the ceiling void and thereby supports convective heat transfer from the water-based radiant heating and cooling ceiling. This contributes to increasing the heating and cooling capacity.
The system also integrates the building mass into the overall thermal concept based on the thermo-active building system principle. The building mass can be used as an additional thermal storage mass and can temporarily absorb heat and release it again later.
